Best Stewardship Practices Development Certification Program

Projects interested in using Best stewardship Practices and becoming eligible for incentives must follow the Development Certification program. The draft guidelines can be downloaded by clicking here or on the image below. You will need to refer to the Suitability Maps and Suitability Map Zones posted on the Map page to determine project location and eligibility. 

This program is still in draft form and we welcome any comments or suggestions. A comment form can be found on the Contact page.  

The National Park Service Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance (NPS RTCA) selected the Landscape Suitability Map and Developer Certification Program for project assistance. Heather Rice from the Anchorage NPS RTCA office is assisting us with the development and implementation of the public workshops a pilot program for future Certification.
